: Help launching my new site – still showing “coming soon” page

  I created a new free site at abdulkarimabubakar5.wordpress.com, but it’s still showing the “A bright idea, coming soon” placeholder. I’ve chosen the free plan and started setup, but need help to finish the steps and launch it properly so my content is visible. Please guide me!

  Your site is currently displaying a ‘Coming Soon’ placeholder because it hasn’t been formally launched yet. This is a default privacy setting that keeps your site hidden while you’re still setting it up. To make your content live, simply navigate to Settings > General in your dashboard and change the Privacy status from ‘Coming Soon’ to ‘Public.’ During this process, WordPress may prompt you to purchase a custom domain or upgrade your plan; you can simply select ‘Skip purchase’ and choose the ‘Continue with your free site’ option to keep your current.
