Help!! Line Spacing and Post View on Site
-
Help! I am new to blogging and don’t know how to fix the line spacing on my blog. When I press enter, it double spaces instead of single spacing (see post with Walgreens in title). Also, when you click on my blog, my oldest post shows first, not my newest, how do I change that? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This will explain how to do line breaks, and / or add space between paragraphs.
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/06/10/formatting-text-pt-1/#more-1132Have you tried editing your “oldest” post and removing the “stocky post” option from it. Aside from that posts are ordered in accord with their date and time stamps. If you changed your timezone > Settings > General after you published a post then what you describe could be the result.

Thanks! I was able to to fix the spacing, but what do you mean by removing the “stocky post” option? I looked and couldn’t find it

Yikes! I’m sorry I made a typo. I meant “sticky post”. :( http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
When this problem arises it’s usually because someone forgot to edit to remove the “sticky post” option, or it was a scheduled post and their’s a time zone problem (posts are odered by time/date stamp), or they changed their time zone here > Settings > General after publishing the post.

Hi my name is Bhargav and my wordpress id is bhargav99.wordpress.com.
In my blog I have created several categories under which I have my posts, is there anyway to compress the posts in each category so that visitors can only look at the post heading and not the entire post and click on the post only if they like the heading?
This way it helps the my blog visitors to look at all the posts quickly and save time.
I would appreciate your help.

I have answered you in the other thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/supress-posts-for-a-quicker-view?replies=2#post-424224 Please do not post the same issues into multiple threads. Doing that does not get you an answer more quickly. It simply means the Volunteers answering questions have to cope with the frustration of leaping from thread to thread saying the same things over and over again. -
I am extremely sorry for that timethief,
I am new to wordpress and its terminology, I shall take your
suggestion into account from now on.. its learning for me :) -

We are cool. I do not hold grudges. Everybody is a newcomer at some point or another and we all make mistakes.
Best wishes with your blogging. :)
