help locating my 'name'!

  Hello! I go by an alias ‘xchartistic’. I am trying to get my handle to be: @xchartistic, and my wordpress blog domain to be: xchartistic.wordpress.com (the .com can be anything else if there is another option available). Each time I attempt to use this xchartistic label for these, it says the name is already in use, however, if I search for who might have used this name before me, it says @xchartistic and xchartistic.wordpress.com do not exist. I am wondering if somehow they have been already used/created by me at an earlier date, and I just don’t know which email account to use to access them.

  Is there any way to help me with this? Its important for my ‘personal branding’ and such, so its something I want to pursue at all costs. Please let me know anything I can do to help! I might possibly have other wordpress accounts using the email (email visible only to moderators and staff)… So far I cannot retrieve anything.

  This account was registered a year ago https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/xchartistic and the matching blog URL can only be registered by the person who registered that username account.

  Also note that Staff cannot gift you with a username account or blog address that you did not register, and they cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the email address of the person who did register that account.

  If you think you may have been that person see Account Recovery https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ You will have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  If you cannot provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access, then you have reached a dead end.

  Thank you– yes, it was ME who registered this name, and am having extreme difficulty getting any proof of ownership. I cannot understand how this happened. I understand the rules, privacy policy, and how web domains work. I cannot find the verficiation codes in my email, and have already spoken to support about the fact that the actual domain is in limbo for some reason…
