Help locked out of my original blog

whowasthatboyintheapplecrate.wordpress.com is my website that I created but somehow I can not edit it. I can view the site but cannot edit it, my changes that I saved to it the last time I was able to get into it did not take and now have no access at all. When I try to link to it it says it is already taken, but it was taken by me when I created it. I am very new to this and am confused. It made me take whowasthatboyintheapplecratedotcom.wordpress.com which I do not want as I have started the other and am already getting hits on it but can get back in. Please help me understand what I did wrong. Johanna (email visible only to moderators and staff)

You are posting from a brand new account, that’s the problem. You need to log out of this account and log into the account that created that blog in the first place. Then you can edit it.

That’s the problem, I can’t get into the account that created it. It does not like my password and when I try the password recovery it does not like my email either. I tried to contact them but that is even harder. Any ideas????

Complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access. -
Tried that but I don’t have a proof of ownership that they require, so dead end there too. Wish I could just have wordpress verify that I created with the account I cannot get into. It is linked to my email address so just want a password reset sent to me, it might be the fact that there was a typo when I set it up and will never be able to get back into it. Nice I could talk with a real person at wordpress.

Both raincoaster and I are real people. We are not robots or zombies.
There is one and only one means of account recovery and I linked to it. There is nothing that can be said on a phone that cannot be said in that form to Account Recovery Staff off this public forum. That is why I suggested that you complete as much details you can and submit the form, knowing they do have a backlog and will get to you as soon as they can. -
Thanks to both of you for your replies, did submit and did not have all info they required so I am at a dead end.
