Help! Locked out of my PAID UPGRADE blog! So can't get in to get answer!
-
URGENT!!! Please help me. I DO PAY for upgrades to my blog and qualify for quick help, but I cannot get into my blog to mail you from there, I am locked out! My real blog is http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com
I seem to have two WordPress identities with the same WordPress email and long address, which is poetlizbrownlee.wordpress.com. On Chrome I could access my blog at the correct address. For some reason or other, on Firefox I cannot get to my real blog, the one I use. I had to delete Chrome as it was messing up my activity monitor. But now I am locked out of my blog. I have asked you about this before, and no-one could come up with a solution or explain why this is happening.
I am contacting you via the blog i do not want. I went to delete this blog, but it said I can never use this address again. And this address is also the address of my REAL blog! I am crying with frustration about this – how can it have happened?
Please please please help me to get to my real blog, and get rid of this identity which is really screwing my internet up!
Thank you, Liz Brownlee
PS i also have a WordPress website at lizbrownleepoet.co.uk but that is unaffected.
My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff), and when I enter that email with my password for my blog, it says i do not own that identity. If i enter the password for this blog I do not want, it just takes me to this blog i do not want, and none of my blogs are on this identity.
So I share an email address between the two, and I share the long WordPress address between the two, but the passwords are different, and it will only let me into the WRONG blog.
I have never even used this blog and can’t recall making it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is an empty blog hosted by WordPress.COM
https://lizbrownleepoet.wordpress.com/http://lizbrownleepoet.com is set as the primary domain for http://poetlizbrownlee.wordpress.com and should appear in the address bar when you visit the site but that’s not happening. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. Oh, Timethief thank you. It say ‘unsubscribe from Topic’ so I think I must have already subscribed.

Hi Liz,
As timethief mentioned, your blog at lizbrownleepoet.wordpress.com is completely separate from the site at http://lizbrownleepoet.com, which is owned by a different WordPress.com account. The two WordPress.com account use different email addresses, so you’ll need to log in using the username or email address that owns
http://lizbrownleepoet.com instead of your account lizbpoet. If you aren’t able to log in to that other account, please follow the steps in our Account Recovery guide for more help regaining access to that account. If you fill out the recovery form mentioned there, our team will get in touch privately as soon as possible to talk through the process.

Dear Rachel, forgive me, but you are wrong. Both sites have the same email, which is (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff) – this is the same address, the same email account, Apple keep changing the name, but both addresses represent the same account. So in effect, both accounts have the same email address.
I know both sites are different.
If I enter either of the above addresses, and the password for my blog that I use, WordPress won’t accept it. It will only accept the password for the account I do not use. I need that account to be closed, please.
BUT, because the same email address is used, I am terrified this will close my other blog.
I have been through this hateful process about 5 times now. Each time it is screamingly frustrating, but I never get any actual definitive answer – if I close the inactive blog, will it ruin my other blog? Because something, somewhere, is muddling them up, and it isn’t me!

Hi Liz,
Although those two email addresses lead to the same email account, they are considered completely separate at WordPress.com and are each linked to different WordPress.com accounts. One is linked to your username lizbpoet and the other is linked to the username that owns the site at lizbrownleepoet.com.
To manage the site at lizbrownleepoet.com you will have to log in using that account’s username/email address (the version of your email address linked to that WordPress.com account). If the login form doesn’t accept your login details for that account, please follow the steps in the Account Recovery guide — I can’t help you regain access to that account here in the forums.
It will only accept the password for the account I do not use. I need that account to be closed, please.
WordPress.com accounts can’t be deleted (you can read more about that on our page about Deleting Accounts) but you can delete the site lizbrownleepoet.wordpress.com if you no longer want that site or address. That’s completely separate from the site at lizbrownleepoet.com, so deleting lizbrownleepoet.wordpress.com won’t affect lizbrownleepoet.com.

Ok. Put it this way then. I can log in to the website I don’t want on (email visible only to moderators and staff) with my password for that site. I can also log into this blog I don’t want with the (email visible only to moderators and staff) with my password for that site.
How do you explain that? If the system is not muddling them up?
If i enter the correct email, with the correct password for my blog I DO want, the little box shakes its head.
This is my problem. I AM putting in the correct email address.
Something is muddling the two sites up, as I stated before, and I’m not comfortable , if the system thinks that email address is the same (which it clearly does, even though you say it cannot) with deleting the site.

Hi Liz,
After you log in with (email visible only to moderators and staff) can you please make a screenshot of what you see on the screen? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.
That will help me understand what you see and have access to when you log in with that email address.
