  Help – trying to add a logo (or any image) and it won’t add but it won’t tell me why. It’s under a GB and its in one of the acceptable formats (tried png and jpeg)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hmm… Not sure what’s going on there. I haven’t been able to replicate it on my end yet.

  Can you add the logo image you want to use to your Media Library so I can check it out there and see if I can find an issue?

  I can’t add it to the media library, thats the problem. It comes up with this error: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content.

  Ah, sorry. I thought maybe the Logo upload area was giving you trouble.

  Are you able to add a different image as your logo? Or does it not allow any?

  If it’s specifically this one image giving you trouble and you want me to check out it out and see if I can see what’s going on with it, upload it somewhere else where I can grab it (like Cloudup) and I’ll take a look. :)

  I can’t add any image. I have tried from multiple browsers, multiple initiation points into media library. Looks like other people are having this problem? Is there a bug on your end?

  Hmm… I didn’t see anything going on with your account that would stop you from uploading images and was able to upload (and then delete) an image into your Media Library in Chrome.

  Did you see reports of this from other users elsewhere? (I haven’t come across any recent ones, but you mentioned that so wanted to double check.)

  If you’re still having the issue, I have more questions to help us figure out what’s going on…

  Are you accessing the Media Library by going to https://cypressculturedesigncom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ > Media > Library > Add New?

  What happens if you go to wordpress.com/post and try to insert an image into a post there?

  When you try to upload, what happens exactly? A blank looking image? A 404 page? In which browser?

  Sometimes browser extensions can cause some unexpected issues, so turning those off and trying again is a good thing to check too. See: (Preferences > Extensions in Chrome & Safari, Add-ons Manager in Firefox to do that.)

  Let me know how it goes! Any details you can provide related to the questions above will help figure this out.
