help-lost all my work

I did something in settings to change the blog address domain name and for some reason EVERYTHING from my blog-all my work and themes and templates has disappeared I don’t know how to get it back, please help! it says i have no stats and no blog posts, it has all gone what can i do!!

Hi there,
Site address changes cannot be reversed. Luckily you did not delete the old address, so you can move all your content back by exporting it from the new address and importing it to the original one:
Your theme, widgets, and any other customizations you’ll need to redo manually on the old address, as those cannot be exported.
Once you have moved everything back to the old address, let me know and I can move your followers and stats back for you as well.

Just one question – will my stats, and how many likes there are on posts still be there after it has been exported, along with comments? Thank you!

I can move your stats back to the correct site after you have moved your content back, yes. Comments and likes should be moved automatically when you move your posts via the export/import method I mentioned above.

I tried exporting all my content, but it downloaded as a ‘zip’ file…it wont let me now import it because it says it is the wrong sort of file? What do I do! Thank you.

I found inside the .zip file : 3 XML files, however none of them work, instead, a message pops up…
Missing required body data.
Try another file or contact support.What should I try now…?

You are trying to import to https://busybeediyblog.wordpress.com/, correct?
The files inside the .zip folder should work, but you need to unzip the folder first, not just open it. Right click on the folder and select Unzip or Extract All. That should give you files that you can upload in the importer.

No- I am trying to import everything FROM : https://busybeediy.wordpress.com
TO: https://busybeeblogweb.wordpress.com
and I tried unzipping the file, and none of the three .XML files will import. It just gives me a message saying; Missing recquired body data…
Any idea what I try?

Update: it now says success…I clicked extract all and it has now worked-now just to check if it imported correctly…

Is it possible for you to import my likes from https://busybeediy.wordpress.com to
https://busybeeblogweb.wordpress.com ?because the export and import was successful- but my followers and likes and stats are still on https://busybeediy.wordpress.com . And I want everything now on busybeeblogweb.wordpress.com .

As I said before, I can move your stats and followers once all your content has been moved, but it doesn’t look like everything has imported yet. I only see 17 posts on https://busybeeblogweb.wordpress.com/, while you have 195 on https://busybeediy.wordpress.com/
Did you import all 3 .xml files?

Thank you- I hadn’t noticed that all the posts weren’t exported….I thought I had selected all three files, but I will have to try importing the other two in that case, thank you for letting me know!

Likes cannot be moved.
If you want Staff to move your subscribers you type both URLs into this thread and wait for them to respond.
