  If I have an account with shopify, how can wordpress be of use to me? And if wordpress is able to connect with shopify to change my domain name and all the great stuff y’all are talking about; would you be able to do so only when I choose a plan with Shopify? Or would it be easier for me to buy a website? Or do I get to build websites with wordpress? And if so…where would I get products from?

  Hi @lanaloo510, we aren’t closely connected with Shopify. But, there are several options available to you if you’d like a WordPress site and blog, too.

  – You could have shop.yourdomain.com point to your Shopify site, and the main domain point here. Or, you can keep the domain at Shopify and just point blog.yourdomain.com here. You mentioned “website” though rather than blog, so I’m guessing the first option would be best. Let us know if you need more clarification on that.

  – If you have a plan that supports an e-commerce store here, you’d be welcome to use our service instead of Shopify. There are even options available for importing your store items here.

  Can you clarify this though?

  And if so…where would I get products from?

  Are you selling your own products, or do you have something else in mind? And, are you currently selling this way at Shopify?

  This is where I am at. I have a shopify store (where I get my products). I started to start a blog with WordPress also. I set up my domain through WordPress. I need to tied my store to that domain and then tie my blog into the store…. I’m stuck on how to do it…. Help !!!

  Waaayyyzzz…when I started with WordPress I was so lost. Haha… Now I have a sense of direction and for that…I am happy. Thanks again and I will soon be inside d hot scenes with WordPress. Ha!
