  I want to delete my wordpress.com account. I do not use it. I have a website bij wordpress.org! And because of privacy things, I want my account deleted!

  funnily enough I found your post after looking how to delete my own!

  it can be done, but obviously if I manage it with mine, I probably won’t be able to come back and see if you did yours.

  on the page below it says you cannot delete an

  account

  – but can delete a blogsite:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  it links you to:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  where you can remove your blog (I shall be doing mine in a moment)

  personally I find it quite amazing that WordPress say one cannot delete an account and will certainly take this matter up with them!

  one should be able to leave ANY product or service at will in this modern world – how dare they I cannot leave!
