Please some one in Word Press land. Contact ASAP!
    *** Domain has expired***

There is No Contact or further information to start the Redemption besides FAQ. Why is it they can take money instantly, but can’t make it available to resolve Domain issues? No Tech Support or email. This should not be a Premium option. It’s basic business.

rainbeaujos.com expired in October and is in redemption. To get help from staff you need to type modlook in the tag box to the right. I have done this and hopefully staff will contact you in due course to see if the domain can be recovered. (If recovery is possible there will be an extra $80 on top of the standard charge to pay to do this though).

after typing in modlook in the tag box to the right, the ADD button does nothing.

As I said earlier, I’d already typed “modlook”. You’ll now have to be patient as staff work through earlier support requests.

  • Hey there,

As @themagicrobot mentioned, rainbeaujos.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

Please let me know if you want to proceed with paying the late renewal fee in the attempt to reclaim the domain name. This option is also time sensitive because the domain can be auctioned off to an expired domain bidder.

I would suggest enabling the auto-renew option so that you will not have to worry about losing control over your domain in the future.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

    Darnell,

YES, I AM INTERESTED IN RECOVERING MY BUSINESS WEBSITE DOMAIN.

Please send a LINK so i can recover my Domain ASAP.

Thank you for your quick response. I guess my only question is; why is there not a link on my subscription page to be able to recover my domain or at least submit a desire to recover? I understand a vast amount of Word Press support deals with CODE and a slew of random questions. Which makes sense to have FAQ, Support pages, etc. However, I used this Word Press for my Business, not to BLOG. It should not be so convoluted to resolve a purchasing issue.

Maybe next to this convenient Auto Renew Button there could be a RECOVER DOMAIN Button that appears when you have expired. So no one has to sit in a chat room to get to this point and the issue could be expedited. Not wasting any of our time. Just a thought.

Thank you for your help and support.

  • Hi there,

why is there not a link on my subscription page to be able to recover my domain or at least submit a desire to recover?

There is a period of about two weeks when there is a button under your account you could use to recover your domain:

    Domain Expiration

However, after that grace period is over, the domain goes into our registry partners hands. Per ICANN regulations, we have to pay a redemption fee in order to retrieve the domain from our registry partners. Since we deal with the third party registry and not the user, you have to go through us in order to retrieve the domain at that point.

    Domain Expiration

I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore rainbeaujos.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

I will let you know once I hear back from the registrar.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
