Help me delete this:

  I turned the HOME page into about as you stated I should to remove the date. Now I need to remove all together this:

  “HOME
  Not Found
  Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  I need to delete this and I can’t seem to find out how to do this.

  What you come to as a default is the blog page that shows the posts you create. Since you have no posts, there is nothing for wordpress to display which is why you get the warning.

  If you want the about page that you created to be your home page then go to settings > reading and set your about page as the static front page. http://support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  If you also want a blog page that will show posts, create a “post” or “blog” page and then at settings > reading set that as the “post” page.

  I went to SETTINGS and only saw this….what/where is STATIC?

  Why when I click on CONTACT is there not ann EDIT option on the top, and there is when I click on HOME?

  Go to posts > edit where you can see the list of the pages you have created. Is there a page called client garden list listed there? Or a page called contact?

  Edit “contact” and look in that page to see if it has the contact form code

  [contact-form]

  If it does not, then type or copy and paste the above into the HTML tab in the editor and click “update post.”

  Also, while that page is open in the editor, in the “attributes” section to the right of the text area, make sure that under “parent” it shows “main page (no parent)” in the pulldown.

  Thanks…for now I’ve just lumped all of my contact info into my HOME page. I deleted the CONTACT page for now.

  You have all been so helpful and responsive. It’s very impressive. This will just take longer than I thought.

  You’re welcome Scott and I’m sorry it is taking longer than you thought.

  You might want to try and create another contact form page from scratch now and see if it will take. It really should without a problem.
