Help me get my widget to work

I have tried numerous times to add a GoFundMe Widget to my blog. I have followed all of the directions as best I could as some of the stuff it calls for I don’t even have on my menu choices.

We cannot use JavaScript widgets or iframes on free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

That plugin is only for WordPress.org installs. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins.

so if I use the paid for version of wordpress I could do use the widget? It doesn’t make since because GoFundMe tells you specifically to use on wordpress and/or typepad which i’m not familiar with at all.

so is it possible to transfer my entire wordpress.com over to wordpress.org? and what’s the difference in simple terms because I don’t know the lingo

“WordPress” is meaningless without the .com or the .org ending. In order to use GoFundMe that you must hire a web host and set up your own wordpress.org install. See here if you decide to move your blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
