Help me move to WordPress.com?

Hi there folks, 2 questions…
1) I’m currently a customer of neosurge.com where I have http://www.tinypirate.com . I’ve really liked their service, but if you look at my site you’ll see that I don’t update the site often and I’d rather just go easy and cheap and move my trash over to wordpress.com.
I’ve tried to work out how to do this via the CPanel over on Neosurge, but I’ve not managed to work out where to begin. Help?!
2) I believe I can move my email hosting over to Gmail? I’d love to use a combo of gmail and Thunderbird (and my iphone) to check my tinypirate.com email.. but again, not quite sure where to start.

If this is a wordpress powered blog (as in it’s using the software offered at wp.org) then there should be somewhere in your wordpress dashboard that will let you export it to an .xml file. Then you can import that into a new blog here at wp.com.
If you want to keep the URL, you’ll need to buy the domain mapping upgrade.

I’d like to do that, but once I’ve bought the domain upgrade, how do I move the domain over? My host is being slow to reply to my emails, so now I want to do this myself somehow, but I am not sure I am able to…

As stated, how do I sort out the name registrarstuff? I am using neosurge.com as host and registrar currently, I believe.
