Help me please! (merging a new hosting site/ bluehost and my wordpress site

I created a wordpress site, and then a few weeks later (today) bought bluehost. Now I am trying to synch the two and I am having a terrible time. I would really like it if someone could please help me. I spoke to someone from Blue host but they keep saying that I need to ‘check the FTP’ and I have no idea what that means. All the tutorials I watch show things that are not on my screens. Bluehost said I can delete my wordpress site and then ‘re create it’ through bluehost – but I am nervous if I delete it I won’t be able to recreate the name.

Well carrying your WP site name over won’t happen unless you already own that domain name. so if you go to to your new host, you will have to make a new domain regardless. the link below will give some info on exporting your data so you can move it. FTPis for file transferring from servers. they may think your info is hosted on one.
