Help me recover a site lost on Namecheap.com please

    Hi
    I built a website on domain http://www.parmkaur.com. using the Namecheap XP app. I failed to keep up with paymets, and although I did back up on their app, they have not been able to retrieve the site for me.
    As I built it in WordPress – can you help me find it please?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there @ukparmkaur, sorry to hear that!

    Two important questions to start:

    • Are you able to regain access to the domain? You man need to work with them and pay redemption fees if it’s not too late
    • Do you (or they) have backups of the files and data from the server?

    If you can get a backup, that will be your best bet for restoring the site. Otherwise, I’d recommend going ahead and starting a new site here. You can build it out a page at a time at https://wordpress.com/page — and if it’s helpful, I did find some archived content at archive.org/web. You could copy that over, then connect everything with a menu and style when you’re done.

    Or, if you want to get a head start and have someone build the site for you, I’d recommend our Built By WordPress.com services.

    Once you’ve regained access to the domain, you can connect it to our services using any of our paid plans. Premium would likely be a good fit based on the content I saw, unless you have a backup in which case Business would work best. Or you can buy a new domain if needed. Let us know how we can help!
