Help me recover my account!

  Dear Team,
  I am in a really bad situation.
  I am getting money deducted from my credit card on a wordpress website I created.
  Unfortunately, I do not remember the URL or the email address I used to create the account. It should definitely have the word ‘Agora’ associated with it. I have the transaction ID for the payment.

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi,

  Do you recall the account username? The transaction ID should be helpful in your efforts to recover the account, but you’ll need to submit an Account Recovery Form, including the transaction ID in the Proof of Ownership section. See also the Account Recovery support page, and its Account Recovery Form section for relevant information.

  I’ll call for staff attention to see if anything can be done about the charges.

  That is the unfortunate situation I am in.
  I do not remember the username as well which is required in the Account Recovery Form.

  No problem if you can’t remember the email address or username. Put a mark at ” I don’t know my registered email or username”.

  I do not have access to the following

  1. Email ID of the account
  2. Username of that account
  3. URL of the website (I don’t think I even published it)

  I only have the Transaction ID with me

  I do not remember the URL of the page. It is not allowing me to go further with just the Transaction ID therefore the above suggestion is not helpful.

  In my first post I said:

  The words “Account Recovery Form” in that sentence are linked to the form, which is the same document linked to by @staartmees. Please fill out and submit that form. It is submitted by clicking the button directly below the form, which is labeled “Recover my account!”

  I totally get that we have to fill out the form.

  Here is why I am not able to complete filling the form.

  Even if I mark “I don’t know my registered email or username”

  It is asking me “What is the URL of the specific blog you are contacting us about?” which cannot be left blank. This I do not know and is mandatory for me to submit this form. So, I fill in the Transaction ID and “What email address should we contact you at?” and now I am not able to submit.

  Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, I misinterpreted the statement “I do not remember the URL of the page,” thinking you were referring to the URL mentioned in @amiteshg93’s statement immediately preceding yours. Please wait for further response from staff. : )
