Hi there!
You can toggle your Site Visibility settings by heading to Settings > General in WordPress.com:
https://wordpress.com/settings/general/throttleupradio.wordpress.com
If you’d like you site to be hidden entirely from public view then select the ‘I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose’ option. Alternatively, if you’d like your site to be viewable by the public but want to discourage search engines from indexing it then choose ‘Discourage search engines from indexing this site’.
Let me know if this helps or if you wanted some further guidance on that.

Hello! No I do not want to hide my site from the search engines or for it to be private. What I was trying to hide or the actual meta-tags. If you go to my blog and look at it before the actual blog post itself… The tags that I chose and input are visible. How do I make the tag is visible to the search engines but not to the public?Sent from my iPhone

Sorry for misunderstanding! To clarify: Are you referring to the actual tags on your post e.g. all men created equal, Jeff Grillo, Jesus, prince of peace etc.?

Yes but I only want them removed from public view. I would like them to still exist in the background somewhere where I can’t be seen publicly but the S EO still exists. Is that possible?Sent from my iPhone

Thanks for clarifying! There isn’t a builtin way to hide the tags, as they’re part of your theme’s design. I have, however, thought of a couple of workarounds for you:
* You could create a static page for your blog and then using the Display Posts shortcode to pull your posts in. Using this shortcode allows you to have some more control over the appearance of your posts:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/* If you purchased a WordPress.com Premium or Business plan, you could hide the tags with some custom CSS. If you’re not familiar with CSS, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to change the appearance of websites.
Let me know if either of these help or if you have any extra questions around them.

Well thank you for your help. I appreciate the responses. Other any other three teams that do hide the text? Any that you would suggest that would be similar in appearance? If not that’s okay. I’ll deal with it until this grows enough to justify spending money. Thank you very kindly once againSent from my iPhone

I believe that all of our themes contain tags as part of their default design, though there may be one or two that have the option to hide them. You can search our theme repository to find some where tags are more hidden:
