Help me switch to a username I probably own but can't access.

I probably already own the username I want to switch to; I was a real caveman when I first got into blogging in 2008. Now, if I do own it, I’d like your help switching to it.

If you have an account on WordPress.com but do not have the login details, you will need to start the account recovery process here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Once you have gained access to that account, you can transfer WordPress.com sites from your current account using these instructions:
