Help me turn my blog into a website

  Hello folks, I want to turn my blog into the #1 web show on the internet. I want to make an HD video variety show once or twice a month. I know I want a link to a Youtube channel and I’ve read up on Viemo and they say don’t host video on my website, link to them and leave it up to them. Godaddy suggested that such a website would be better through Managed WordPress community. I currently have a wordpress blog. I can’t even load a song to it. WordPress community, this is all new to me. Somebody please spell it out to me step by step???
