Help! Migrating from wordpress.com to wordpress.org
-
It might take a few weeks before Google updates their search results. The 404 errors logs is generated by some plugins, we don’t support that.
If you’re having problems with a site not hosted with WordPress.com, we may not be able to help. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. You can find support for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress here and here.
Regarding the IP address URL: What address is listed under the ‘Site URL’ in Settings -> General in your blog’s dashboard? Could you also please try to disable/enable Jetpack and reconnect.
-
IP address URL is http://mothersniche.com I tried disabling and enabling the jetpack.
I noticed that there was a guided tour option for purchase for those wanting to do the transfer over for them. Are there any options for those that have made the transfer but are having issues? Like can I just pay a happiness engineer a portion of that price to quickly fix my link issues for me since I have done everything else already?
-
After disabling and re-enabling jetpack like you asked….now all my subscribers are gone….again.
-
If you will just put my subscribers back I will figure out everything else on my own. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with all these issues!
-
I made some changes. Are your subscribers back now?
About Guided Transfer, you can find more information about it at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
