help! My blog at wordpress has changed language settings
-
Just happened to me as well… Please advise. Page looks normal, can’t use Dashboard. Frustrated.

Same over here. Happend about 30 minutes ago when I published an update page, I didn’t make any language changes.
Also hyperlinks don’t work anymore because they suddenly have the prefix tr.wordpress.com, resulting in the error: “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain”. -

I experienced the same thing! I knew the general place things were, so I checked all language settings, including browser. It has fixed itself now.

Yes mine too, Turkish, I just noticed it, and all the forums and everything on wordpress is in Turkish now, I just noticed it on all wordpress blogs I’ve visited. Just happened w/in the past few mins. ????? Massive hack of WP????? Please change it back to the way it was, I never changed my language settings and I want it to go back to English the way it was.
Have all the language settings on all WP blogs been changed forcibly by a hacker or is this just some massive error that occurred when new changes were being tried out on the system?
By the way when I originally clicked to go to support it took me to the Turkish support forums and I had to manually type in the address for the English support forums to get to it.
Seems its a system-wide problem across the board for a lot (maybe all????) wordpress users?

I wonder if I picked up any Turkish-speaking followers during that excitement? ;-)
Thanks, WP, for fast response

It seems this was a temporary issue and many users had affected by it including me.
My site is working fine now.
Is anybody still facing the problem?

Go to Settings -> General and choose the language as English, and save. See if that fixes it.

I did it, and the language settings are correct, but Turkish is still there, and links are redirected to a tr.wordpress domain

I thought the same thing earlier and changed my password as I was worried about my account being hacked. My blog is partly fixed accept the stats page on my dashboard is still displaying in Turkish. I hope the glitch is fixed soon.

Same for me. It’s fixed now, but I’m worried about hacking. I also note that there have been clicks from my blog to a blog with the same name except that it adds .tr in front of .wordpress.com. It seems that tr.wordpress.com is a Turkish version of WordPress, so I wonder whether my blog has been copied over to it.
