Help – my cancelled account is still taking money from my account.

    I cancelled my paid content and a year later have had three large amounts of money taken from to my account, but it shows no paid content … someone help please. I’m desperate for my money to me taken from me – how to I contact accounts. It says 48 hrs hours to cancel a renewal…. BUT I’VE SEARCHED THREE DAYS and the LIVE CHAT, EMAIL is not available. PLEASE STOP TAKING MY PENSION MONEY – I can’t afford to live this this week because you took my money.

    I meant I am desperate for the money ‘taken from me’ to be returned. I really need help to navigate the site because it clearly shows I have no paid content from my end. I am distraught and struggling to cope with this…. someone please help!

    PLEASE – cancel my account and return my money. I can’t eat or sleep for worry…. and have spent three days trying to get in contact with you. I have finally figured out how to get back online with you my using an old email address that fortunately still works and renewing my password, but it seems I still can’t contact wordpress because the paid upgrades I used to have are clearly no longer on my account which mean I have long ago lost the live chat function.

    I am desperately hoping wordpress admin will email me and help me – I really need help to stop this happening again – I never really started the website due to becoming disabled shortly after, and thought I had done everything right to close the paid account – I really doesn’t show when I log into the free part – it says I have no paid content or upgrades.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     I had done everything right to close the paid account – I really doesn’t show when I log into the free part – it says I have no paid content or upgrades.

    I reviewed the healthyhouseholdaustralia WordPress.com account and there are no transactions on file at all for that account, so what you described about seeing no upgrades is correct for the healthyhouseholdaustralia WordPress.com account.

    It’s possible you are not logged in to the correct account at WordPress.com or another possibility is that you have been charged by a different company other than WordPress.com.

    You will need to research your records carefully to find out where the payments have been made to. Most companies will send you a receipt by email so you should check for that first.

    It is possible to setup WordPress software through other web hosting companies—and if you did that then it would be completely separate from WordPress.com. Before contacting WordPress.com or anyone else, you should review your records for details and make sure you have as much correct information about the charges as possible. It may help to write down exactly what it says for the charge on your statement and to review your email history to see if you can find a receipt or any other account information related to the charges.

    Based on looking at the healthyhouseholdaustralia account at WordPress.com, no money has been charged by WordPress.com for that specific account and so you will probably need to figure out the company that is actually charging you (it could be a local web host but you will need to determine that from your records), or you will need to determine if you have mistakenly setup more than one WordPress.com account so someone here can help you review that in case you haven’t provided accurate information.
