Help – My computer’s browser cannot open PHP file

Hi there, there’s a problem when i was trying to install wordpress application on my computer. When i clicked “/wp-admin/install.php” on readme file, the browser was offer to download the file, instead to open it on the browser. So i cannot install wordpress. Are there people who experiencing this problem? What is the solution?
I experienced this problem after installing Macromedia Dreamweaver. I have used System Restore tool on Windows XP to restore the system to the previous point. But it doesn’t affect anything.

I believe you need to ask at http://wordpress.org/support because we don’t deal with installing anything here.

Don’t know if this will do it, but did you try right clicking on the download button and maybe pressing “save” or “save as”. Sometimes that will work if you’re having a problem like that. Good luck.

As katm said, you need to be at wordpress.org/support. This is wordpress.com.
