HELP my site is gone
-
I’ve been writing on a site the past weeks, and suddenly I got an error and the page was gone.
What can I do? -
Your blog is still here: http://heidiballinger.wordpress.com/
You deleted a post a few minutes ago. Would that be it?
-
Called “Memories” the biggest post, sigh.
I think the url might have been something like:
http://heidiballinger.wordpress.com/sl-inworld.com (but not totally sure) -
Google might have a cached that you can copy/paste. Also if you subscribe to your own feed you can find the post there.
-
I’ve tried to find it on Google as well, but I’m afried I don’t have any places to find it :(
Does WordPress makes roll-back??
-
This is a long shot – a guess: If you have a reader who subscribe to your feed it might still be there?

I’m afraid it is gone forever then. It is recommended that we use an editor such as Qumana.

WordPress does have a function that allows you to copy and paste from MSWord.
For longer posts, I always start in Word and go from there.
I hate to lose stuff too. :o(

The icon for the “paste from word” function is on the extended tool bar: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/
