HELP! My website and domain has been hijacked and I am unable to sign in to my wordpress.org profile!!

Hello support, I am seeking help and some guidance on what I am able to do about this situation as my website and domain url have been hijacked and subject to a malicious possible phishing scam! The jetpack plugin emailed me that my website is back online again yet I did not put it up. It seems someone has set it up using cloudflare somehow… I’ve tried signing into my account on WordPress.Org and I am receiving the message Error: There is no account with that username or email address… What can I do…

I’ve tried signing into my account on WordPress.Org and I am receiving the message Error: There is no account with that username or email address
A WordPress.org account and the admin account you use to log into your site are not the same thing – a WordPress.org account has no connection at all to your self-hosted WordPress site, but is just used to post into the forums or to contribute to building the software there.
If you’re sure you definitely have a WordPress.org account, and you’re trying to log into the correct WordPress.org username, you can email their forums team at forum-password-resets[at]wordpress.org for help.
But at most, the WordPress.org forums will only be able to provide advice, same as us. WordPress.org doesn’t host your site, and the people there have no access to your server, so won’t be able to help you regain access. Only your hosting provider has the access and control needed to help you with that, so your best option here is to contact them directly.

Hello Sir, the site is ” http://www.vaporwavevista.com ” and I lost the domain license for it due to inability to pay yearly for the domain. It seems I may be locked out and out of luck on this situation as i’ve attempted to input the wp-admin url login and it leads me to a “page not found” page with a big url which says “all information about covid” and some other suspicious buttons with hyperlinks utilizing my ex web 2.0 website url…

based on what I can see, the domain vaporwavevista.com expired, was offered up for sale some time after that, and then was purchased.
It’s currently owned by someone else and registered with GoDaddy: https://gwhois.org/vaporwavevista.com+dns

Because someone else owns this domain now, you can’t use it to access your site. The current owner is instead using the domain with their new site now.
Instead you may wish to contact your previous web host (Siteground) and see if they still have your site hosted on their servers. Assuming your account with them is in good standing still the data should still be there. You can then ask for their help with assigning a temporary address to your site so you can once again access it.
