Help! My website won't load

  My WordPress.com website will not load with any browser even when I empty the browser’s cache. I have tried to change the theme and that doesn’t work. Neither the site URL http://emilymullin.com (purchased through WordPress.com) nor the original blog, http://emilylmullin.wordpress.com are working. I have no idea what the problem is. The site was working fine just a day or two ago.

  There doesn’t appear to be any sort of issue with your blog.

  I think there might be a problem with the domain mapping – the base site loads ok

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  The name servers do not seem to be set: http://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/emilymullin.com – and maybe other problems

  When I checked, the nameservers were properly programmed BUT the status of the registration is “on hold”…

  I don’t understand the problem. I re-registered the domain on Jan. 25 and it has been working properly ever since. My blog, http://emilylmullin.wordpress.com is now working but my website domain, http://emilymullin.com will not even load and has not loaded for the past two days. I don’t know how to even check the name servers or what to do if the status of the registration is on hold.

  Help! I use my WordPress blog as a portfolio website because I am a working journalist. Right now I have several outstanding job applications where I have listed my website on my resume. This is really frustrating. I have not changed anything on my site in the past few days. I can’t figure out what’s wrong.

  I’ll re-flag it. This is very odd: the cache of the non-working domain works! By the way, that’s a beautiful site you’ve got there.

  Yes, I see that the cached version of the site will load but not the actual domain. Do you know how long it might take to get this resolved?
