help my words are dissappearing¬!

I’m trying to make a new post on my blog but I can’t see what i’m typing. I know it is there because when I highlight it, it shows up but when I click the highlight goes and I can’t see my words. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong please? It has all happened since I changed my theme to digg. It was fine before.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like somehow the text color got changed to white. Go to the HTML tab and see if you see something like
<span style="color: #ffffff;">at the beginning of the text. If you do, switch back to the visual editor, select everything in the post and click the “remove formatting” icon on the lower tool bar (angled rectangle symbol). -

It says this in the html,
and this in the visual, </p>I seem to have lost a toolbar along the bottom where you could change text colour and I no longer seem to have that button :( Have you any ideas how to get it back please?

Click on the last icon on the right end of the top tool bar (kitchen sink) and the lower bar will appear.

One other thing to try is to log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

Right here we go, sorry to sound so green and not teccy at all!
I have emptied cookies etc and restarted browser. Logged in and clicked new post. On my top tool bar I have upload/insert and the last button is add poll. Go along a bit and there are the tabs Visual and HTML. Under that are some buttons to add a link, code, more, dictionary lookup etc. Under that it says close tags. That is all there is there.
Going back to what it says in HTML, ‘

What is the last icon on the right on the post box, not the Add Media above it? Is there no sort of checkerboard with a lot of colours in it? If there is, click on it.

Ah, that didn’t work. Try this:

Also, make SURE you click the Visual tab first before posting. Then the instructions make sense.

There is no checkerboard, no colours, nothing. One day when I logged in all the dashboard had changed and it was gone.
Another problem with new posts; I like to preview before I actually publish but when I click preview the preview it gives me is of the screen I am working on, not what my site would look like as it used to do.

Go to your PROFILE page and make sure that the Visual Editor is enabled. Read the text carefully. Then, when you go to the Write Post page, make sure you click the Visual editor. The checkerboard will be there.
