Help! need help with blog error-I am really confused

  I created a new blog yesterday and also purchased a .com domain with the same name through wordpress. Then today, I decided to change them both to a different name. I managed to change the wordpress address easily but I can’t find where my own .com can be changed. I am so confused. Where can I find information about my bought domain name? How do I change it?
  If I am making this confusing’
  original address was goreadwithgretchenoverland.wordpress.com
  changed easily to goreaddustybooks.wordpress.com
  bought domain yesterday through wordpress which was http://www.goreadwithgretchenoverland.com
  need it changed to http://www.goreaddustybooks.com like the others
  Any help would be soooooo appreciated! TY

  If you don’t like the custom domain name you bought – you have 48 hours to cancel it and get a full refund – you can’t change the domain name – goreadwithgretchenoverland.com – only cancel it and buy the .goreaddustybooks.com that you want –

  You can also cancel the domain mapping if you want for a refund then purchase it again for the correct domain name or the staff should be able to move the domain mapping to the new domain name

  thanks for the info! i am still confused about who i contact if i don’t like the domain i purchased? i don’t see a number, or anything, very confusing site…i can’t cancel it because i don’t know how! :-/

  Info about cancelling domain upgrade:

  To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account, then go to Store → My Upgrades and use the “Cancel” link in the Subscription Status column. If it’s more than 2 days past the purchase date, you will not receive a refund, but the domain can still be canceled by contacting support.

  Hi there – as auxclass and 1tess have mentioned, you can cancel a domain within 48 hours of registration by following the instructions above. Looks like you’ve already issued yourself a refund and cancelled goreadwithgretchenoverland.com, so just let us know if you still need any help with it.
