Help needed with "locking" style & colors of my site, please!

  Hey

  I know my site is in Dutch (but it’s not a language issue, so that’s alright), but I seem to have a problem to ‘LOCK’ my style & colors of my site.

  When I choose a black background with white letters, the white on black seems headache-provoking.
  When I choose a white background with black letters, same result, the black on white is disturbing and *NOT EASY ON THE EYES*.

  Can anyone please tell me if:

  A) my site ‘right now’ is good enough on style & colors?

  B) if not: what would YOU do, please? What color of background would you choose and what color of letters, please?
