Help needed with new template Oxygen
-
Talk about a stress machine.
Decided that I couldn’t cope with the stress of setting up a website so have set up another blog at least for now.
The template is Oxygen and it has three menus. Now call me stupid I really don’t care – I need to find out how to use this template. I don’t know who sets these things up but…
There are three menus – so presumably for prevention of confusion and ease of use, they ought to be named one two and three. So I don’t really understand why they are giving you the option to name them what you like instead of just auto-naming them one, two and three. That just seems to be making it more confusing.
Then you see that there is a primary menu, a secondary menu and a tertiary menu – presumably that is referring to location?
Or is it, because there is another tab for location?
For some reason I cannot fathom it is not possible to name the primary menu ‘one’, the secondary menu ‘two’ and the tertiary menu ‘three’.
So I give up move to the widgets and put an image in the sidebar but it doesn’t show up. I take out the search box and put it in the reserve park, but it’s still there.
I go back to the menus hoping that by moving the location I can move the searchbar, but that seems to be impossible.
So after several tries returning the same result I give up in despair and proceed in trepidation to post on forum spelling out the problem as best I can so that someone can have a go at me for being stupid. (Oh well whatever floats your boat.)
I would appreciate if someone would please explain to me what WordPress.com haven’t bothered to…
