Help nneeded with Theme suggestion please
-
Been writing a blog on here a while now but have never really liked the theme i choose, it looks nice but it seems really awkward to navigate the story history, menus and tabs are ok but i’d like the posts to be listed in an historic oreder so people can look back easily (i have dated all post titles so they’re self explanatory if listed)
Has anyone got some suggestions of a different theme that reads more like a book with an easy index that’ll move with the page as people scroll down through the post?
I’ve not gone premium yet but happy to if it gets to the right theme.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Would Syntax fit the bill?
https://syntaxdemo.wordpress.com/
You could create a custom menu and link to the post from the slide-out menu.

Thanks Kathy, I quite like the pop out menu on left but the general colours and theme are not in keeping with a natural / rural feel (maybe that can be changed)
But on the pop out menu, can I add something like that to the left and another on the right of my current theme? (Hemingway rewritten)
If not, does going premium mean I’d be able to customize my current theme more?

Syntax comes with one free alternate colour palette, which is grey/blue and looks like this:
You can also change the background colour for a different effect – here’s one example: https://cloudup.com/cbpYWMXHpx1 – or add a background image and choose from a collection of Google Fonts.
If you opt to go Premium you would have access to more colour palettes and additional TypeKit fonts.

You could certainly add a menu in the right column in Hemingway Rewritten. It doesn’t have a left sidebar, though.
