HELP – Nothing seems to be working trying to set up
-
I have been trying to set up my site for the past week and I’m beyond frustrated. I have three pages so far About, Portfolio, and Contact and I can’t get the info I want on each page to be there. I got the About done so it’s there when I click on it but when I click on contact the stuff i entered isn’t there and it’s still whats on the About page. HOW DO I EDIT MY PAGES!! Was thinking about using premium but definitely not if it’s this hard to use!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is the link https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sketch/ to your theme description [page which has set up instructions. Note that the theme has a slide-out menu and you need to click the link on the top right hand corner to locate links to your pages after you add them to your custom menu.

Please see https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ first.
They must be public pages – not private and not drafts.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Reader, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.

I agree with Nicoleslaw0! I’ve gone through all the documentation and I’m frustrated as hell. I can’t tell which content type (page, post, etc.) is going where. I can’t tell where the images are coming from – sometimes looks like a featured image, sometimes not.
Instead of the cutsey cartoon pictures, can you use something like: “this is a portfolio page” or “this is a featured image?” Or at least add that content to the images. Same thing with titles. Also, screen shots of the admin toolbar or short videos would be VERY helpful.

You are not using the same theme. You are using Baskerville, not Sketch. Please consult your detailed theme description page at https://wordpress.com/themes/baskerville/ and the rrlevant support docs at:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/If you are still experiencing issues then create your own thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 please.
