Help on CSS (Full-width page navbar)
-
Hello,
I need some help for the website I’m working on : this one
Firstly, I would like that all blacks parts in the home-page expand on the full width of the screen. I looked many times into the CSS files but I can’t find out how to change that.
Secondly, I tried to get a custom navbar when we navigate on the website on mobile. I want that the navbar shows “Sonomax” and the “…” to open the menu.
I hope someone will find the answers to my issues.
(Sorry about my bad english, frenchie’s here.)Thanks by advance !

Hi
About the first Part you can expand all the main content to be full width by changing the width in your CSS: in your CSS file look for the class site
.site { background: rgba(252, 251, 249, 0.9); box-shadow: 0 0 6px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); margin: 0 auto; max-width: 1400px; }Change the max-width to 100% and the CSS should be like this
.site { background: rgba(252, 251, 249, 0.9); box-shadow: 0 0 6px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); margin: 0 auto; max-width: 100%; }About the second task, i think you should contact your website developer to help you. This forum is WordPress.com related topic, you can find out more about WordPress.com by reading this guide:

Hey Skobraf,
Thanks for your answer, I’ll try the CSS part soon.
About the second part, I’m in an internship in a company not specialized in development, the point is that I’m the one creating the website, whatever, I’ll keep looking for the right part of code to change this navbar ;)
Thanks again!

Hi there @sebaghmathieu, the site you mentioned in your first post sonomax-larochelle.com isn’t hosted here on WordPressdotcom.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, Go Daddy, etc.). If you need help with a site using the open source WP (org) project you can find it at https://wordpress.org/support

Hi
About the second part you can do it by changing the ‘Bienvenue” to ‘Sonomax’ and that is not in the CSS file you will find it in the file of the navigation bar
Than you!
