  I asked for help on a subject a while back and got good help. now I need to reference that dialog again. can I do that, look at my history of help discussions? thanks

  I allready figured it out thanks. but it did not help me on my current problem. which is: I have several blogs and in each blog I want a Links widgit that lists other blogs I write. On my blog nothingbutbirds.wordpress.com it works, but on my blog nothingbutplanes.wordpress.com it does not. I go into Dashboard/Links and look at the internal workings and they are identical. frustrating

  Each blog is independent. The Links widget has no data that it can display until you enter that data into the Dashboard Links section of each blog.

  It looks like you’ve already figured this out. If you want to add the other two blogs to your new blog’s list, just click the Add New button at the top to add them here:
  https://nothingbutplanes.wordpress.com/wp-admin/link-manager.php

  I found the problem – in the link that didn’t work I used the link http://blogname/wordpress.com instead of
  http://blogname.wordpress.com

  boy do I feel stupid. sorry bother you guys. I appreciate your patience.
