HELP!! – Open sans font not displaying correctly when logged out!
-
Ok I really love this font but the problem is it only displays correctly when I’m logged in. When I’m logged out it’s a shrivelled and compacted version! (what’s strange is that this ‘uglier’ version shows up in my text editor while typing out a post, but the preview always displays the ‘correct’ version)
Picture here to illustrate my point: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2817/9400361338_83f5f26efd_o.png
Please help as I really want to use this font for my readers! :(
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I see the font family defined as Noticons displaying properly on your blog while logged out, using FireFox or Safari or Opera. Have you fixed the problem?
-
Hi 1tess, thanks a bunch for the reply ! Nope the issue isn’t solved, I haven’t modified anything. But this whole Noticons thing is new to me, I’d never heard of till now. My font family has always been defined as open sans at 10.5pts. By Noticons do you mean you’re seeing a page filled with icons and not text ?
-
Oh yeah, one more thing, please refer to the most current posts only.y older posts use another font which works completely fine while logged in and out. It’s my latest 3-4 posts using open sans that’s having this issue.

Oh, I’m sorry. I was interrupted and was looking at the wrong part of your CSS. And yes you are correct. It is open sans at 10.5.
I was looking at this

when I got distracted. Sorry my mistake. I should just do one thing at a time…But I cannot help with why your site is not displaying properly; it looked fine in all 3 of my browsers, while I was logged out.

In light of this:

I’ll modlook this thread.Which browser are you using?

Hi, I tested my logged out blog on these browsers:
Firefox 22.0, Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16635, iPhone Safari on iOS 6.1.3On two computers which use the same Firefox version, it’s still the same result. So I’m quite confused (and ironically relieved at the same time) that you’re able to see open sans properly from your computer…

The Open Sans font needs to be loaded into the CSS, unless it is already installed on someone’s computer. This works when logged in, but not logged out.
I recommend changing the font or using the Custom Design upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design

Finally, the reply that clears everything! Now I understand the why behind this issue. I’ll most likely change the font though. Thanks loads :)
