Help other people edit their site

  The other person has shared their website to me by inviting me as a team member, so i can get access to the website and help them with editing. however, I did not find any way to enter the edit version of the website. it seems that i can only add a new page rather than directly edit the site. please let me know how i can edit the whole site. thank you.
