Help! Our staff member with admin rights left and we can no longer access site
-
Hello
We require assistance from a staff member. Our admin access to:
http://xploretpi.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fxploretpi.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1has been lost. A previous employee changed the password resets to go to his personal email so we are unable to retrieve the password reset requests. This is urgent. Would appreciate if staff could respond. We need to add a new admin account to the site so we can access it.

Your company does not own the blog and Staff will not just arbitrarily move the blog to your account so be clear about that. Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. That blog owner is the original Admin and you need to contact them directly to have them add another username account as Admin first and then transfer the blog ownership to that username account.

transfer blog to another username account http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account -
Also note that when I click the link you posted above I am not viewing the password rest for a WordPress.COM blog at all. xploretpi.com Is hosted by Unified Layer. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
