Help: Pique Theme Featured Image on other pages
-
Hi all,
I am using the Pique Theme and like how it works however, when adding a “featured image” on any normal pages, it shows up blank.
On the pique demo pages, you can apparently do this. The the moment, only the ‘theme > header’ image option works.
If i want a unique header image on every page (if necessary) is there a way to do it? Am i doing something wrong? can i overwrite it? or is there a theme that can do this?
thanks in advanced

Hi,
only the ‘theme > header’ image option works.
Do you mean “Customize > Header Image?” That’s where you set the site custom header image, or images, if any. Featured images are not set in the Customizer. See the Featured Images support page, and in particular the Setting a Featured Image and Removing a Featured Image sections of the support document.

Yes, you may add a unique featured image to each static page and post. The blog page and archives pages will display the site header image.

Hi musicdoc1,
Thanks for the response. I had to play around with it for a bit and is now solved.Seems Pique turns off “Featured Image” on static pages when “Customize >Header Image” is blank.

You’re welcome. Glad you’ve resolved it.

Featured images and header images are different in a number of ways. They are set or removed in different places. You can not take any action regarding featured images at Customize > Header.
