Help Please

I was wondering if there was any way to set it up so only 1 category would come up when you went to the site and you had to select the other category’s to view them. So when you go to the site it would be SFW but you could chose to click on a Cate that is NSFW.
Thanks

well, you can put categories into ‘child’ and ‘parent’ if that’s what you mean. go to dashboard, select manage, below it select categories. edit the category you want to be the ‘child’ under a parent ‘category’.
do note that no matter what category you put your post in, it will appear on the main home page if it’s the latest post and as such it’s too late for the nsfw warning. however, it works though for posts in archives.
you should also warn your readers of the nsfw categories using a text widget and putting it in the sidebar.

Sulz.. I think it might work if rather than place the NSFW content in the daily posts, if that content was put onto a totally separate page. I have several totally separate pages on my blog and when I update the content of those pages, it never appears on the main blog page. The blog’s owner could then use the daily post to inform readers that there is new content on the NSFW page, and could let them know about it with a reminder that it’s NSFW.
Not sure if that’s what he/she is looking for, but it’s another idea.

IMO investigating the way(s) to treat “mature” content that’s NSFW is to contact Mark directly. He’s totally knowledgeable and also very approachable so he will provide the best advice. You can contact Mark by sending in a feedback or an email to support at this domain.

Is there a thread about NSFW content anywhere here that I’ve missed? I agree Mark would have great advice but I’m also wondering if, out of the (almost) one million blogs on WP now, everyone with that question emailed him… if he’d want to hog tie us for suggesting it?
Not that I know him to know he’d hog tie anyone, but you know what I mean. ;-)
If there isn’t a thread or a FAQ with that info in it, maybe it might be a good idea?

Thanks every one for the very fast responses I’ll try your ideas and look for a FAQ or something then try to contact Mark.
