  I have created a website that I need assistance going live with and removing an old website but am unsure what to do since the site is an already registered domain with email and hosting.

  This is wordpress.COM and we only provide support for sites that are hosted here.

  I understand but I need assistance getting my site on wordpress set up so I can go to the other provider to remove the old site and hosting of it. We do not have an IT dept so this is where I am struggling to make this work.
  I would prefer to speak with someone at wordpress if possible.

  They use register . com for the hosting and email
