Help please

  Hello can you help me please. I can not edit or post or write anything after I have signed in to my blog, if I try to write anything I can only write ONE letter then the curser just continually flashes and I can not do anything more. If you need to email me please email me at (email visible only to moderators and staff) ….. Many thanks for your kind help from Eve.

  Thank you for your reply. I am using Safari 4.1.3 and can not upgrade because of my computer’s age. My blog was working fine until fairly recently and I have no problems using other webpages etc. Can you please let me know what I can do. I can access my settings etc. through the Leave a Comment part of my posts, after signing in there . Many thanks from Eve ..

  Hi Eve – That’s quite an older version of Safari. Are you able to download Chrome or Firefox? Can you let me know if one of those browsers works for you, or if you have the same problem in another browser? That would narrow down if this is a browser-related issue.

  Hello Eurello …. thanks so much for your reply. My Mac is a PC G4 model now using OSX 10.4.11 and as far as I understand Chrome and Firefox can not be used on PC’s … I don’t know much about browsers to be honest, and after reading google forum, I can not seem to find any other kind of browser for a G4 with 1.04.11. Do you know of any? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me. A big thanks from Eve

  Hi Eve – I see. I’m sorry, but I don’t really know what to advise, in that case. It used to be that Power PC users had good results with the Camino browser, but I just looked at their site and Camino is no longer being developed. I understand you weren’t having any problems until recently, but it’s still most likely that what you describe is because of the age of your browser. :(

  Hi Eve – One more suggestion. One of my colleagues pointed out that some of the older versions of Firefox (toward the bottom of this list) can apparently be installed on Power PCs:
  http://www.oldapps.com/mac/firefox.php

  Again, those are also older versions of the browser, but you might try one and see if it works better for you than Safari.
