Help please – a bug in my website's theme – Suburbia

    Hi there

    So I thought I had a virus. I clicked like to someone else’s comment on my own blog and then a million Chrome pages started opening simultaneously and I had to kill all of the sessions and restart

    After this my boyfriend opened up the same page and clicked to like a comment on this same page on my website and he had the same error on his computer.

    Same error occurs in Firefox, IE and Chrome.

    Same error occurs when I click like on any user comments, on all of my blog posts on my site.

    Clicking like to the post itself doesn’t have any issues. I have a lot of likes and comments and there doesn’t appear to be any issues with that.

    Again, I did think this was a virus but instead I now believe it’s a simply a bug within the theme.

    You should be able to replicate this error by going to the site and trying to like a comment there.

    Hey there !

    I just liked a couple of your comments using Safari 7 / Firefox 31 / Chrome 36 and didn’t have any problems when I’m logged in. However, when I’m logged out, it does exactly what you say, a loop of popup windows.

    Hi there!

    Thanks so much for the report. I was able to replicate this and passed it on to the developers. It looks like it happens with a variety of themes, not just Suburbia.

    I’ll let you know when this is fixed!
