Help please – disappearing menus?
-
I am in a bit of a panic. Some items have disappeared from my side menu in my account. Most noticeably, pages, users and media. I have no idea how or why they have gone. I did just do an invite to someone to be a contributor on my blog – and when I went back to my account, those items had disappeared. There may be others gone as well, but those are the ones I can tell are gone.
Can anyone help with this please?
TIA
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

UGH – and I can’t edit any of my published posts – the buttons just don’t show? They still show up for draft posts, but not for the published ones?
What’s going on – please?

I have just added my daughter as a contributor, but she hasn’t touched the computer since I did it? I literally just did it when this started
-
I just logged out as me, and back in as my daughter, and her username doesn’t access my blog yet

Try logging out, clearing your cache memory, deleting your cookies, and logging back in:

It’s not my browser as I opened up my account page on another computer and have exactly the same problem.
The buttons that are missing from the left menu are “upgrades” “media” “links” “pages” “appearance” “uses” and “settings”
-
If the only two usernames to access this blog are you and your daughter, and both have problems, then I’m at loss.
Try asking staff for help: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

In reading and fiddling, I think I might have worked out what has happened, but I still dont’ know how to fix it :(
I think I have somehow turned myself into a contributor rather than administrator?
But how on earth I can get that back I have no idea as I can’t access the “users” button to change it?

Butt I have sent a message to the support team before I figured this out so hopefully they might come up with an answer

That’s what I was thinking too (that somehow you became a contributor).
Surely staff will help you sort it out. -
