Help please: full post appearing on email

  I have a lot of email subscribers…how do I direct them to my actual site rather than just reading the full post in the email? I’ve spent ages trying to find the setting where email notifications just include a couple of lines of the blog post…but have had no luck. Can anyone help? Thank you x

  The setting which affects only the length of posts in the RSS feed and not the posts themselves is here > Settings > Reading
  choose “summary”
  Syndication feeds show the most recent __items
  For each article in a feed, show
  __ Full text
  __Summary
  click “save changes”

  If you want to display only the beginnings of posts on your front page followed by a link to read the full post on its own page this will reduce page loading time. That’s done by splitting text by inserting the more tag into the posts themselves.
