Help please, I ruined my web site…
-
Hello:
I copied & pasted the following code into my themes functions php file:
01 //Add Email This Option to Bottom of Post
02 function wpb_custom_emailthis($content){
03 if (is_single()) {
04 $emailthis = email_link(”, ”, false);
05 $content .= ‘<p>’ . $emailthis . ‘</p>’;
06 }
07 return $content;
08 }
09
10 add_filter( “the_content”, “wpb_custom_emailthis” );Now, the site no longer displays and I can no longer even get into my wp administration page.
How do get back in to correct whatever mistake I have made?
Thanks,
Rob.
the site was: http://www.googlevoiceforcanadians.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here. Contact your web host.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Thank you. :)
I will post my question at .org.
I seem to have a site with you and with .org.
When I go into “https://wordpress.com/stats/day/www.googlevoiceforcanadians.com” I see two “www.googlevoiceforcanadians.com” sites listed – one I can access and one I cannot.
Is this normal?
Thanks,
Rob.

You have to have an account here to run the Jetpack plugin for your stats.
Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built in to WordPress.COM blogs.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-serviceIf you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and make our developers aware of the issue.

I seem to have an account with both .org & .com.
I also think that I have Jetpack in my .org world.
I find this .org / .com stuff very confusing.
Any way, I am pretty sure that I started with .com and then switched to .org – maybe that is why I have account with both.
I hope it doesn’t matter.
Rob.

As I said above you probably have an account with both so you can use the Jetpack plugin on your self hosted WordPress.ORG install.
