help please: i want to embed the word press logo on my myspace page?

  ever since myspace has started to reVamp its whole entire site, its blogging features has gone south to blogging heaven.

  i like this site “wordpress.com”, is there a way too embed the wordpress logo onto my Myspace page ?. with my link inside the image ?,
  so when people click on the logo it will take them to my wordpress blog ?.

  that would be so darn cool. i know that i can maybe link this site with myspace, but i dont want to do it that way.

  also i would like to put a wordpress banner onto my MYspace page as well, cant help it, i like word press, this way when people visit my page, wordpress will “hypnotize” them, lol

  We provide support on this forum for those who need assistance with free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM only. Myspaces software is not the same as wordpress.COM software and you will have to get help form Myspaces staff for everything you wish to accomplish on that blog. We cannot help you with a Myspaces blog here.

  i know that, each site has its own forum/help page.

  i just want to some how embed my wordpress link, inside the wordpress logo and then put it onto my Myspace profile page is all.

  kinda like if you were too embed it as a cool comment as an image ,
  kinda like the ones on “http://www.glitter-graphics.com/”.

  their link is embedded right into the graphic, so when some one click on the graphic it takes them to that site.

  i want to embed the wordpress logo onto my myspace profile page as a way to share how great wordpress.com is

  I know what you are saying. here is no embeddable wordpress.com widget you can use. This is a matter of you capturing an image, uploading it into your Myspaces blog and linking it to your wordpress.com blog. How that is done on a Myspaces blog is NOT known to us here at wordpress.com. The software at the other end is the issue. Please go to Myspaces for support because we cannot help you.

  I don’t know what you mean by your idea. All over the internet bloggers capture images and icons for their blogs and the all social networking sites they are members of and post those images linked to their profile pages or blogs. So this isn’t a new approach. Best wishes and happy blogging.

  There are some wordpress logos for use over at the wordpress.ORG site, but I’m not exactly sure where they are over there.

  yes your right on that one not being a new aproach, but new to me, lol.

  and i found a wordpress logo image and saved it to my desktop, i have a webshots online photo album, so i uploaded the image to that site, then i took the code used to share that one image and i altered it just a slight bit, i got rid of the first link towards the top of the code and replaced it with my link to my wordpress blog and presto !, it worked.

  now when people click on the wordpress logo , instead if it taking them to webshots, it takes them to my wordpress blog instead.
