Help please – Plugin update crashes my site

  I receive this error message and our site crashes when I update plugins from Thrive Themes. I was told I need to increase the following server settings:

  Max Execution Time = 300
  Max Post Size = 1000M
  Max Upload Size = 64MB
  WP Memory Limit = 512M
  Memory Limit = 512M

  I reached out to GoDaddy for help but they said this is a WP issue and I will have to manually make changes to the wp-config.php file. I have NO coding knowledge so I have no idea how to change the settings. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have to get this situation fixed ASAP.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
