HELP – Please remove mapped domain

  I am not happy with the WordPress help. We want to remove the mapped domain on our site, csana.wordpress.com. Mapped domain is chestersquareassociation.org. I have had no feed back since my initial posting so trying again. Currently when a visitor comes to our site they get an error message saying that the linked domain has expired. We do not need this mapped domain here, but the site does not allow me to remove it… only renew it! Please help, thanks.

  I would be happy to assist you in removing your mapping subscription. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into removing the subscription.

  I will try to figure out how to get that done, but this is a local neighborhood association blog with neighbors in the area coming and going. I know for a fact that the person that started this account has moved and gave others administrative rights, but will try to get in contact with him. I assume he should somehow remove himself from the account?

  Hi there,

  If the current owner has no intent to maintain the site, it might be better to have them transfer the site to another admin who will have owner privileges.

  I can also e-mail the owner regarding this to see if they will give me permission to remove the domain from the account.

  Let me know your thoughts.

  Ok thanks, but we don’t want to renew the mapping for chestersquareassociation.org. We want it removed from csana.wordpress.com. Thanks again!

  Apologies, I meant removed. Since the subscription has been expired for 19 days, I have removed it from csana.wordpress.com.
