Help please to delete my account

I can’t seem to find a contact or support service to ask this to privately, so can anyone on the forum please tell me how I can remove my account with WordPress. Thanks in advance.

You cannot delete your account, but you can leave it inactive.

Thanks for the reply. I read that, but am not sure I believe what they’ve written. I’m sure there must be a privacy issue in me having an account here against my will.
It’s mainly the Gravatar account, which is seemingly linked to this one, that is causing me problems, so I need to delete that, but their help facility is down. -
As my personal information has been automatically added here, could an administrator please delete this topic (and ideally my account). Thanks.

When logged in here – in the upper gray nav bar – there is an image if yo uploaded it or something on the far right side – hover over it and click on Account Settings – that shows a bunch of stuff and links for Gravatar and such – start with clearing those fields and check out the links in case there is more info you can clear

Thanks. I’ve cleared everything I can in those two accounts now. I’m just going to log out now and hope I don’t end up linked back to this site in future.

You have removed your gravatar image and personal information from our servers. You may also delete your sites with us by following this guide:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/For security reasons we do not delete a user’s site for them.
