Help please with gravatar…

  I have put a gravatar widget in my side bar which I have yet to fill in but never mind on that, well it has made the widget under it go to the side if that makes sense can anyone help…

  In which one of the three sidebars did you add the widgets? And what exactly did you paste in the Gravatar widget textbox?

  I need some clarification before using Gravatar. I simply want to upload a small photo of myself to appear on my blog, when I post comments, etc., instead of the ‘canned’ WordPress image. But when I read about Gravatar the informational material states that if I use it, and upload a photo, that photo may appear not only on my email site (which I do not want), but possibly ‘across the web’–which is something I definitely do NOT want.

  What’s going on? How can I simply upload a snapshot of myself to use on my blog–and ONLY on my blog–instead of the WordPress graphic image?
